The Crafter In Me

Workout:  Lindsey Brin's Pretty Fierce Weight Loss Muscle Splits - Upper Body.  I think I have mentioned her before, but if you haven't heard of her go check her out!!

I got hit with this craft bug right before Christmas.  Like, big project crafting.  It started with something that came up on my Pinterest feed that I thought I could recreate.  And before I knew it I had all these ideas that only true crafters know how to handle! (I'm more of a modge podge and scrapbook paper crafting gal).  Somehow, my husband started to get in on the fun, and he came up with the BEST IDEA EVER!!!

Sooooooo precious right?!!!  I remember this day so vividly! This is Orlando's crib that has been sitting in our garage for the past few years.  We tried to throw it away a few months ago, but the garbage people didn't take it.  That was irritating, but I guess it was meant to be because Matt came up with this genius idea!!!  We ended up turning a white crib into a super cute piece of art!!

VOILA!!  A few cuts from a saw, and a few nails from the nail gun, and we had our own crib pallet.  It is pretty big - not sure why it looks so tiny in this photo.  I have it hanging in my bedroom, and I painted it to go with our bedroom colors.  I'm a tosser; as in I throw everything away.  But it is nice having a memento from Orlando's baby days.  It turned out great, and I'm extremely grateful for a husband who put the whole thing together for me....idea and all!

  1. I had no idea that was O's crib until now! Makes it much cooler with the back story! Not that it wasn't before but you know what I mean☺
