Workout: 3 easy miles on a beautiful sunny, but COLD morning

I don't know if I mentioned it enough in my last post that I love Door County!! Love, love, love!! When Matt and I win the lottery we will definitely be buying a place up there:)). Ok, so fall fun-what we did...

Tried out a new coffee shop in Fish Creek. We got a few frappacino type drinks that were delicious! It was nice to get out of the rain for a bit, and you can't really tell in this picture, but the view of the bay was gorgeous. And a little bonus; we actually had cell service here!

Seaquist Orchard. If you ever visit this place in the fall get there early!! Like, right when they open early. And thankfully we did because within an hour it was packed. Crowds flock here because there are actually activities to keep the kids entertained.

Because my time is limited I will now fill your screen with just pictures. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right??? So why bother with words at all:)

Workout: 8 miles/1:25:02 It takes 9 months to put the weight on, and it took 9 months and 6 days to get the weight off. FINALLY!!!!!! I am at my pre-Orlando weight. I gained 40 whopping pounds during my second pregnancy, and I am ecstatic to say that I have now lost 41. I worked extremely hard to get that darn baby weight off, and there were several times I didn't think I was going to be able to do it. Thankfully, my determination won in the end. I have expressed before on my blog that I am not a healthy eater. Junk food is my good friend, and fruits and veggies are evil gross!! (Okay, not ALL fruits, but pretty much ALL veggies are evil.) So how did I do it? I cut out a lot of carbs. Not completely, but I closely monitored my carb intake. Setting Goals

I'm always setting goals for myself. Running goals, nutritional goals, cleaning goals, etc. (That last one is always a challenge.) I set goals so I have something to work towards; an everyday challenge to conquer. A couple of weeks ago I thought about what type of new goals I wanted to make. I started by thinking of a running goal. I needed something that would be challenging, yet achievable. I decided I would challenge myself by trying to run at least 20 miles a week. Next, I wanted to set some nutritional goals. Anyone close to me knows that I eat like crap. Total crap! In fact, I honestly can not remember the last time I had a piece of fruit. I have just a few more pounds of baby weight to lose and I know eating better would definitely get it off. So I set a goal to make wiser food choices and cut back on my snacking. A little mommy rant!

Workout: HIIT download/2mile run Okay moms, I hate being bombarded in every parent's magazine and internet article about all these super star moms. You know, the moms that feed their kids organic food, only let their children play educational games, and make their two year old do service projects. You can judge and put your nose up in the air about me, but that is totally okay, because I judge you, too!!! Seriously, I want to throw my greasy hamburger in their face and tell them to shove it. My kids are awesome, healthy, happy, and enjoy life. And I enjoy the things I do being their mom. It is totally okay to: 1. let my kids eat McDonald's french fries. 2. let my children watch cartoons....right smack dab in front of the t.v. 3. Allow them to drink a late night polar pop!!
