Valentine's Love!

Workout: 3 mile tempo, Pop Pilates: Abs I'm not a total sucker for this holiday, but I do enjoy a little pint sized fun!  So on the eve of the Day of Love I whipped together some sturdy reusable envelopes.... Put together a little cutesy display....                             And then stuffed those envelopes full of the kid's favorite goodies. Simple, cheap, and so fun to watch them open!!

It May Seem Strange...

Workout:  3 mile tempo run.  Pop Pilates: Tricep Toner and Hot Abs ....but it's not.  It is actually quite normal.  Next time you drive by a cemetery you will probably notice some people trying to get a workout in.  It all started in high school.  There was a loop we would run for cross country and track.  It was simply called "The Cemetery Run".  High school, out to the cemetery, loop around, then back.  I also remember my junior year there was a cross country meet where part of the course was through a cemetery.  Since my high school days running in a cemetery has been totally normal. Every time I run in the cemetery I ALWAYS see other people.  Here in this town I usually see walkers.  Occasionally, I will see a runner.  Today, I saw a biker - just doing loop after loop (it is almost a mile around the big loop).  Why on earth would people exercise in a cemetery?  The main reason for me - NO TRAFFIC!!!  One thing I hate most about running through town is dealing with
